I will give almost any genre a try at least once. I have to say though, that Still Beating by Jennifer Hartmann is probably my favorite book. Well, The Ritual and The Sacrifice (The first and 3rd book of the Lords series) are tied for 1st with Still Beating- Final Girls being #2, The Deal #3 and The Sinner #4. I also loved ALOT There are no saints by Sophie Lark.
I do love a good scifi though. A post apocalyptic or a space/science heavy scifi is awesome I am currently reading this series the first is called Life As We Knew It. Gosh it is so good.
I am not a huge fan of regular cutsie romance- once in a while I will read one, but spcicy and dark I like. But I agree, they are not for everyone. hahaha
I have 2-3 that I am currently reading. But I am always down for a Riley book. I can be a mood reader at times, too. But Generally if it is a book from the LORDS Series, a Riley Sager book, or a dark romance, I am good. I did read The Housemaid inbetween dark romances, and it did NOT disappoint.
I don't make TBRs lol I can't choose what I want to read before I read it. I am a mood reader. If I try to force myself to read something I'm not in the mood for I will get into a slump. Hence why I normaly have 3-5 currently readings that are different genres xD
@Angel Riley is one of my favorite authors. His book FINAL GIRLS is one of my favorite thrillers. I am a 90's slasher movie girly (scream is one of my favorite movies). Lol
