Yeah. I popped him in the nose with the Lead rope and the back of my hand a few times and Baby calmed his biting down on me. He still does it, just not as frequently. But again, hard to undo years of being allowed to get away with Tom foolery.
I think babyÂ’s is more of he has been allowed to be an ass for years. Never taught boundaries, just taught riding etiquette and how he should act in the show ring. Hell, he even acts up in the show ring from time to time. But that is normal hot horse behavior.
Trigger, why the big eyed horses are always so mean?? I mean it wasn't a long ago when we visited one farm and there was awhite big eyed cute looking FWB gelding, I went to pet him and he tried to bite me, my sister didn't see that and few minutes later she went to pet him and he bit her
The gelding, Baby, does not try to bite me as often as the others. But I just do not tolerate it, and he knows it. Cinders I gave up on being nice once and now she has not tried it since. Does not mean she will not try it again.
If you have Dapple Blend Grain, you can feed it to your horse and their coat will dapple.
