The US has a presidential nominee who, since replacing Biden which- don't even get me started on him💀, will not speak to the press and answer the tough questions nor will she explain in detail her policies. It's ridiculous honestly, no matter who it is, it's not good 💀
I've come to realize that to my mind, Trump is more interested in having the job then doing the job. The President is my employee as a citizen, and I want a President actually interested in working!
I was trying to explain it to someone from another country and what it boils down to is one side wants everyone to be able to play with the toys, and the other wants only the people they like to get a chance to play with the toys.
Simplistic, I know, but it did make sense to the person I was talking to.
And honestly, if someone is truly aware, they would see there is evil regardless of left or right. I have seen plenty on both sides of that aisle in my many decades on Earth. Pretty even across the board, too.
I personally believe that people need to drop right and left and just return to some middle ground where bad behavior = punishment regardless of ethnicity or where someone came from or whatever.
I think all political parties should be abolished and candidates run on their own merit and proposed policies, period. The culture of mudslinging is a huge part of the problem.
