Oh no I whole heartedly agree. I hate doing it, it is so unnecessary and as you said it causes injuries. My instructor is trying to get it phased out at the local shows since she is on the board
Some classes at the show do not care, but the halter and showmanship do. And I am doing halter and someone else is doing showmanship with her, so they must go
So when you say that, what are you touching up on her face? Not familiar with the intricacies of grooming. I clipped my horse once in winter and it didnt look great. XD
