I don't think donkey's necessarily have to be with other donkeys, just other equines. There was a donkey at one of my old barns. She was the only one yet did totally fine hanging out with the horses.
Is it true it's bad to have only 1 donkey. I wanted to get one and then was told they get very depressed or aggressive if they don't have another donkey with them.

But it also depends on where you live too. Could be a garter like puck says. I pick up Copperheads (I know what I am doing, highly trained, do not try at home without a trained person)
For those having issues with cat claws and nail trimming with scratching posts isnt enough, I highly recommend checking out kitty caps/claw caps. They work wonders. Had an old outdoor kitty that would scratch my wood frames and molding because it was like scratching a tree and the claw caps were a life saver as well as double-sided sticky tape.

Your horse may show 3 times per week. Shows run daily. Your horse and rider will gain valuable experience from showing. Select a discipline to show in, or scratch from tonight's show.
