Well, Ive only kind of got to the stage of playing where my first captures/foals are getting up there in training, so i am not entirely sure.
I think that perhaps i will just continue with AD? Breeding goal is for decent rated X that arent Bay Sabinos :) So not out for showing, its just a bonus
Question for those that feed grain...For the Health Blend of three grains, is there a benefit to it? I know you can bump a horses life and also create dapples with the other option.s
Only my geldings are SD, and that's from birth. Breeding stock is always AD until they become schoolmasters (studs) or hit 12 weeks of training(mares only, as I don't show them at all.)
For me it depends on the horse and their ratings. If they only have one that's higher than the rest, I start training them SD right away. Others I wait until their strengths and weaknesses show up and then I SD them based on that. If they don't have strengths or weaknesses towards one particular discipline, I leave them on All Training. Does that make sense, Sting?

If you have Dapple Blend Grain, you can feed it to your horse and their coat will dapple.
The effect will wear off after a few days. One pound of grain will be fed at a time.
If you feed Senior Blend to your senior horse they will have a 10% decreased chance in dying
when the weekly script runs on Monday morning. The effect lasts for one weekly cycle.

Withdraw your horse from it's team. You will lose all team points for this horse. Please discuss this action with the team manager first.
Your horse may show 3 times per week. Shows run daily. Your horse and rider will gain valuable experience from showing. Select a discipline to show in, or scratch from tonight's show.
