Yep, you can go back to the explore page anytime to choose another one. You won't be able to explore the previous horse again that day though, even if you don't move at all

Yes, you just click on the 'go back to main explore page' after you've found out the bravery of one youngster and select the next one

Dear Santana...so you can change horses somehow in the explore session when a horse spooks? oh gosh. I may take forever to get all of this.

You need them to spook at least once after they turn 2 so you can find out their rating to know whether they're worth keeping. Those of us who breed for bravery often have a LOT of foals to test at the start of every month so we want them to spook as quickly as possible to be able to test as many as we can with each 50 moves. Think my record is about 10 lol. As for treats, lots of people sell apples quite cheaply in their stores, or just dump them into hidden falls I believe

lots of us dont have the attention span or want to sit through 50 moves to find out a horse is subpar in bravery and just lucky to not spook lol so in comes wormy apple to hopefully help the process along when just testing for bravery

You want your horse to spook when you test their bravery so you can test as many as possible during one explore session. Us with 200+ bravery babies per season don't want to wait half an hour for each testing so we hope they spook fast

what is all the coffee for? I see hay and grain but no treats.
SUMMER OF PEARLS

whew! a lot to learn! thank you ALL! and jeepers creepers, why would someone choose to spook their horsie? and there's treats!? I better go find some of those! :)

Yep, a round pen is a waste of money if you don't have at least a few E or W bravery horses. Some even say it's worse to train horses with bad bravery since they will then find more obstacles and spook even more than when not trained.
Minerva
01:51:44 Min
If you think of the ratings as their genetics and training as their skill that may help. You can't change any rating on any horse, and that's what will pass down to foals, but you can train them to somewhat improve their individual skill
Santana Rising
01:50:07 San
The rating itself cannot change indeed. A sub-par horse will always stay sub-par. Morale can determine how much more likely it is to spook again after encountering obstacles, that's why you can give treats to boost morale - or wormy apples to decrease it if you WANT the horse to spook
Minerva

OK so the percentage next to the rating in the Dropbox is their training. You can increase that if you have a round pen by training them up to 3% a day. The meter in the actual explore thing is morale. The higher that is, the less likely they are to spook. Same with training, plus they're more likely to find larger amounts of money. It isn't really worth training anything that isn't W in my opinion though as they'll still be unreliable
SUMMER OF PEARLS
01:48:13
it seems like when you get the meter to 100 percent full, the sub-par rating should develop
SUMMER OF PEARLS
01:46:40
well, I meant the meter that goes up to 100 or back tracks if your horse spooks...when you select your horse there in explore, it says if the horse is average, or something higher or lower, and I wonder how to get the percentage up. someone said it cannot change.
Santana Rising
01:45:02 San
Ah, morale might make sense, Min! Didn't think of that
Santana Rising
01:44:25 San
What do you mean by 'getting 100 in explore'? There's only 50 moves in each exploring tour
Minerva
01:44:01 Min
Do you mean morale or training?
