Ven i have the strong belief that it's long term psychological stress. Like the stereotypical behaviours you might see in horses. |

Angel so it is! i did a paper on the effect colour perception has on a horse's jumping performance a few months ago |

I think we're the weirdest of all. Actively self-destructing ourselves, we know it's happening, and we keep doing it anyway. Nowhere else in nature will you find that |
Angels angels |
Juno Yep that is what we will investigate lol Also you could argue that there are other semi aquatic animals that also give live birth and rodents spend most of their time under ground which again most of them give live birth ;) |
Starfawn Sporthorses |
angel perhaps because their offspring and underdevoloped by the end of gestation? platyous are semi aquatic so cant have underdeveloped young on their body ( like marsupials) as they would drown, and echidnas spend a fair amount of time undergorund so imagine the same reasoning applies. That and it just works so adapting didnt lower or raise mortality in the early stages of life |

-HEE Click- Ooh she bumped up slightly on the WB XC mares LB and is #40 on most points earned this RO from showing so far |

Yeah understandable lol I think we found one though. Asking about why platypuses and echidnas retained the ability to lay eggs whereas all other mammals give live birth |
