| itd have to be *decades* old to over charge to be honest with you, my laptop is 15 years old this year and still does fine being plugged in 24/7 and the battery still lasts when unplugged unless im playing intensive games on it |

| Newer devices are okay, as they have settings to prevent over charging, but leaving older devices plugged in for extended periods, like overnight, can reduce the battery's lifespan ^^; |
