So my point is, typical meal toppers won't work because they contain protein like chicken and fish. The hydrolyzed diet breaks down those proteins into easily digestable bits. |

Tbh I've been better :') getting an ultrasound tomorrow for a possible torn ligament in my knee. But on HEE it's great, finally finished doing embryos for my wild girls! How about you DD? |

@Bingus, that's a good idea. The thing about a hydrolyzed diet is it breaks down proteins that the cat is supposedly struggling to digest themselves. Fortiflora is just a supplement though, right? |

Churus are pretty popular with the picky eaters, but from my experience if you leave it out it gets stale and then they won't eat anything touching it :') but it's good if they'll eat it right away! |

Bird, I'm actually going to suggest you cycle through them. Change it up daily for him. Could you imagine eating the same meal day and night all the time? You'd go crazy! |

Briefly inserting myself into this convo - Bird, have you tried any other toppers? Maybe FortiFlora? |
Hummingbird Meadows |
@Versa, it comes in other brands. I am probably going to try buying all three and see if any work. |
Snowswift Sanctuary |
Bird, Huh. How strange. I mean, does it come in other flavours? Any chance you could mix in some treats, like maybe Temptations? Sketti LOVES those. |

@Versa, he went to the vet today for a re-check and they gave him the all clear and said he is just being picky. |
Snowswift Sanctuary |
Bird, If he's vomiting on the new food, the old food should make his stomach happy again. Have the vets tried boosting his appetite? It's just a quick little shot. If he still doesn't eat, he might be painful somewhere. |

Aqua I just feel like it would really impact my cats quality of life if he couldnt have like a whipped cream cookie crumble Frappuccino from Starbucks for lunch every day |
Snowswift Sanctuary |
Dusty, Sketti got cheese whiz so he'd eat his medications when I first got him, lol. He came to me with kitty pinkeye and wouldn't take his meds any other way. |

@Versa, I am just worried about it making him sick again though. I spent $700 taking him to the vet this past week. |
