The looters are not homeless nor starving. Some have had interviews. Their excuses is that the houses are burning anyways. They're taking valuables, not survival items. I have no room in my heart for evil.

I have to say, these perspectives feel a bit privileged to me. LA has a poverty rate of over 30% which is higher than the rest of California. If you had no food, shelter, or family, I think you would feel very differently. This topic is quite upsetting for some people I think - especially the advocating of violence.
