We've used Bronco the past few years (and beyond) and it just doesn't do the trick. We're just starting the season (100+ degree days) and the flies are Nasty! I want to get something that isn't the worst thing to have around the horses, and me, but still able to be a repellant. I've heard wonderful things about Ecovet for years - but also its very strong odor. We only have pipe fencing and spacious stalls, so not worried about the smell (or as concerned) - watched a video review where the horses in the barn had a sneezing fit from it. Research shows that the UltraShield lineup has some decent products including essential oil based sprays. We used the concentrated oil topical applications (like those used on dogs and cats) and I don't totally remember how it went. Pretty sure still tons of flies. ...yes all common practices to reduce the number of flies is used ie scoop poop frequently |
