No he surrendered the dog to us and refused to pay for services. We did have to take him to court.

Puck My sister in law was trying to give away her 16'1 TB gelding, that had a previous leg injury, because he was a brat to deal with and I just took him. He was gonna end up at an auction for sure but now he is practically a model citizen

Puck, I think my boy came from an auction. Was lied to by a horse trader and was told he raced. When we bought him at 4 years old, 15.3 hands, he was a size 34 girth.. Should not have been ridden at all then! However, I know more now than I did then. He was starved to the point his body started to shut down. Today he is18 years old, size 50 girth, gets fed of a strict schedule, and gets grass when he goes outside for the night. <3

Aww, a dog who spent 687 days in the shelter was adopted today. They have a couple long timers who need to get out of the system.

Like I'm not going to say they were rescues, because they were with good people, but both cliff and lux are suuuperrr weird and I do think my stepping in kept them out of trouble

This was a few years ago now but we had a client that had to have his dog's leg amputated because the leg was broken beyond repair. We attempted to contact him prior to let him know what we had to do but he did sign the waiver that stated if we could not reach him to do what was medically necessary for the dog. Once he finally came to pick up his dog and had seen he was amputated he didn't want to take him because he said that his worth as a stud would be zero because no one would want to breed to a three-legged dog.
