agree too, and even if I was to jump 50 centimeters not at a riding school I have never been to

I used to ride a horse who would actually like to walk down to the ocean and blow bubbles in the water. Not to mention try swimming away lol

Jumping is overrated, you're right on that

I've had a horse go full on bronc on me while bareback while wearing nothing but leggings and a jacket safe to say there was a lot of cursing involved

Yikes, but I agree. Only go where you are confident and know your limits. Very good horse advice.

Probably a boring opinion, but I think jumping is seriously overrated 😂

I feel like it is good to know your limit. Also I did not want to lose my confidence. That was at my friends riding school they tried to get me to jump that height and then I got screamed at when I dind't
Blue Hills Barn

The first and only time I've ever fallen off a horse was when he randomly spooked whilst cantering and galloped around the arena. I held on the until we hit a sharp turn.

I also know my limits. No I will not be jumping 50 centimeters on a horse I don't know because I am not ready to jump that height

Good to know, at my stable we walk down a short hill to get to both indoor and outdoor arenas which is why our horses are only stretched extra if they've had lots of lesson or really old

as I lesson student, I started jumping 4 years into rising and only learnt to canter jump around 2 months ago
Legacy Elm
05:21:03 Gabs
on super cold days I would set up poles and hand walk him over poles for 30 mins as a way to strech his back when we would not ride. I noticed a huge difference undersaddle.
Legacy Elm

I always put my horse first, he is older now, 18 years. I have found that there is benefits to hand walking in the arena for 5 mins before getting on to warm up their back muscles a bit, especially in the winter. in the summer I will walking him a lap each way.

I how you put that, it really should
Legacy Elm

which is great! Jumping should be thought if as flatwork with obstacles.

I don't know the details of our shows because I do participate, but I'm pretty sure it's with other stables
