Thinda So interesting! I never showed the rabbits, they were pets for me. And occasional litter raised to sell as pets. We did have some Angoras briefly when my daughter was younger, to raise and sell. DidnÂ’t do too well with them.

Gem, yes, heavy culling is a must when showing rabbits. A lot of faults to breed out, but sometimes you can get a diamond in the rough out of 2, $200 rabbits
Oh my! Some breeds do need top genes for fur/color. But if get good bodied rabbits and work up from a price buck, I've read you can get somewhere after heavy culling?
Yeah, I was born a natural horse, dog and animal lover. Was very very much a tomboy, and had funky buck teeth as a kid. Kids are mean and lots of them made fun of me so I definitely preferred my animals over other kids to hang out with. So I did lots of training and messing with my animals even as a young kid. Read lots of books and learned about training for different types of things
FSF, I don't have much to compare to, cause I did these 10 years ago (oh I feel so old now >.>) but mine did well for a few years. I bred and showed rabbits for 2 years, but I was more comfortable buying the $200 rabbits rather than the $800 rabbits.
On the other hand, the $800 rabbits were definitely better at getting legs (what they need to be grand championed) than the $200 rabbits :3

If you have Dapple Blend Grain, you can feed it to your horse and their coat will dapple.
The effect will wear off after a few days. One pound of grain will be fed at a time.
