If we really want to get into it both docking and cropping were started so that there would be less places for dogs to bite in a fight way back when dog fighting was a legal thing

I couldn't crop or dock a pup personally. For medical reasons absolutely in a heart beat but for a house pet just makes em look mean and scary sometimes. I fostered soooo many pitties and it is just a nightmare finding homes for them sometimes when they've already been cropped because of stereotypes but whatever just means it wasn't the right home. As a female who lives alone i do use my "scary dog" privileges. No one has to know he is afraid of spiders haha.
