In some fairness, I would be a little weirded out if a bunch of people were essentially in my backyard. My property line in the back is a river. I get boaters/paddlers/kayakers often. Would not particularly like if they decided to hope up the bank and have a picnic in my yard. I understand a beach is a little different but I do understand the thought. Plus nowadays with liability, even if its not technically "their" beach, knowing the owner of the house right behind might encourage some less than ideal behavior.
And it's the stupid millionaires, starlight. The people who actually go to the beach to enjoy it used to LOVE seeing the horses. We were riding once and came across a wedding on the beach and I let them use Pogo in their photoshoot and it was just magical. The horses made everybody happy

And now poop bags are required on horses as if manure is the problem and not the mansions being built on what SHOULD be protected sand dunes. Assholes.
It makes me so angry, Ven. We were riding on thr beach and we ended up behind the mansions and a cop came out and he was like "you cant be here" and i was like by what law and he was like "the owners of these houses complain" and I was like im sorry did they buy the beach??? Or just the houses??? And basically these rich fucks make it impossible for anybody to enjoy a beach THEY DIDNT BUY so now its illegal for people to be behind their houses even though they. Didnt. Buy. The. Fucking. Beach.
Haven't been to Amelia in a while! Last time I went at night to go pick something up for my aunt. There's also a rule for dogs at my beach that they can only come from 5 to like 6. ONE hour? Really?
Honestly, beach at night is the way to go. Or I used to trailer out to Amelia island in the middle of the winter weekday and ride on the beach and it was amazing. But the last time I went a cop yelled at me, and the last time my friend went she got told off by a cop as well, and now they have new laws about making the horses wear poop bags on the beach, so I don't bother anymore. Fucking sucks
If you have Dapple Blend Grain, you can feed it to your horse and their coat will dapple.
The effect will wear off after a few days. One pound of grain will be fed at a time.
If you feed Senior Blend to your senior horse they will have a 10% decreased chance in dying
when the weekly script runs on Monday morning. The effect lasts for one weekly cycle.
