| I was just doing some random breedings for the quest where you have to get a W in each discipline. Was not gunning to finish that in one go! |

| but you do need them. The mare you chose to be a surrogate "carries" the embryo to term for the mare it has been taken from (who might be retired or even deceased at this point). Therefore the surrogate herself cannot carry her own foal in that month. |
