I can definitely see it be confusing since there isnt a clear-written rule, it just gets lumped into veiled advertising. I think every artist on here has done it and been whacked by a mod at one point 🤣
It might vary on the mod you ask. I generally dont show art unless it already has an owner. Contest pieces I dont post, because if people dont win in the contest, they generally go and auction the pieces off
