| I don't think dogs pretend to be happy. I'm of the opinion that they kind of wear their emotions on their sleeves at all times because they're dogs lol. Thor will let me know when he isn't feeling well and he's quite dramatic about it. His vet has called him a diva |

| Elf, I have done the same thing. Performed surgery and then had to put down around 6-7 months later. But thing was in my dogs case vet and I could not predict that the cancer tumours returned so quickly |
