I think you have to be signed into a Google account for that feature though. I'm sure there's also browser extensions you can get for ads. (like AdBlock but maybe to specifically block 18+ ones)
I usually get ads for things to buy. Or those weird ones that say "if you have.. do this" type medical "advice". But when I clear my cookies and cache, that's when the weird stuff comes out.
