when the numbers on my horse's skill level appear as red when viewing my barn as showing? This has been going on for a few days but before it started they had been in the green and I had entered several shows and been moderately successful. I understood the green part from the guides but I can't find anything on red numbers.... anyone know what's up?
I am weird. I love doing ground work. If I have an issue under saddle I go back to the basics, I start on the ground and work my way into the saddle and usually I can pin point the issue and correct it this way. I also love building the relationship with the horse I am riding. We do not have to ride, horses lend us their backs, so I return I like to do stretching / walking / grooming sessions as well. Thursday I am going back to practicing with Lexi on my own and I may do ground work and then massage her / stretch her and maybe even give her a thorough grooming session.
My mare is off the track so her canter pick ups used to feel very much like a starting gate. Very exciting to ride lmao. It's helped slow them down quite a lot
I also love it from a biomechanical aspect because you can really see what your horse is doing. Evie started getting heavy in my hands during transitions so I've been starting our rides with in-hand trot-halt transitions to get her engaging her butt instead of leaning on the bit and it's been so helpful
If you have Dapple Blend Grain, you can feed it to your horse and their coat will dapple.
The effect will wear off after a few days. One pound of grain will be fed at a time.

Withdraw your horse from it's team. You will lose all team points for this horse. Please discuss this action with the team manager first.
Your horse may show 3 times per week. Shows run daily. Your horse and rider will gain valuable experience from showing. Select a discipline to show in, or scratch from tonight's show.
