Oh nice. I'm familiar with Redding, I'm about an hour south of Sacramento. You don't hear of snow often in Redding but today was kinda a wild winter day.

But it did snow today! Which is really a crazy miracle xD I live in Redding CA so we sometimes get a little bit of snow every other year in Jan, but it snowed quite a bit today when I woke up and it was so cool!

OMG that is crazy!! What a freak thing. I would've assumed the same stuff - food poisoning, or the dreaded Norovirus.

Thank you! It started on Thursday night I got home and was puking up everything and couldn't eat anything so I assumed food poisoning, then it didn't get better over the weekend so I assumed it was a stomach bug, on Tuesday I couldn't move at all so we went in to ER and they did surgery like 20min after my CT scan that took like 9 hours to get >> They ended up taking 1/3 of colon out since it had twisted and was blocking my kidneys and building stuff into my lungs >> Dr. Said if I hadn't gone in when I did if I had waited like 12-24 hours longer I could have died >> Very scary xD

I'm doing alright! Currently in the hospital, my colon had apparently twisted and they had to do emergency surgery on Tue. night so I'm still recovering but I should be able to go home from tomorrow!
