@AL 20 and 18. And the one I like is probably like 25-29? I'm 30 now. ;P
Gemstone Stable
@AL Maybe. Or he might warm up to them faster then I did? lol Being a guy to guy thing.
Gemstone Stable
@AL Thank you for the words of wisdom and encouragement. *bug hug* And yes, I've gotten some rejection practice too. I keep messing it up with the younger guy coworkers. Ugh, they have no clue I have social anxitey... Oddly the guy I like and kinda avoid has some of the same sysptoms, why can't those younger guys see that? Dunno.

@jazzy lol ;P @AL Exactly! One reason why I like this lady. She's kind and thoughtful. I can make mistakes or kinda address I don't know how to say it... and she will nicely correct if she needs to. I'm not the same person as when I started work in September, and definitely not the same person as when I started working with this gal! XD

Yeah, rejection is never fun but dealing with pain and discomfort is also part of the growing as a person school :) You will be just fine
Gemstone Stable
@saddled Yup. lol She did say we'd make a nice couple. I think we have to get used to working together first, then friends maybe. THEN maybe more. :) @AL *nods* And yes, I'm slowly getting there. I can express myself without being fearful of what others will think. I still fear rejection some though... Oh, and I have more of a backbone now too. :)
Motonemi
But I can promise one thing: as you experience things and learn how to handle them, you will grow more and more confident
Motonemi
I dont know if this will help you but one of the things that helped me was repeating to myself that I was permitted the same things as everyone else
Gemstone Stable
@AL I have social anxiety and just over all lack of social experience. I was mainly homeschooled and such. I never went through the growing up with peers and feeling about guys. >.>
