A lot of equipment misuse and abuse imo stems from people not understanding the mechanics and original purpose of it. If some professional or well-known person in a community starts to use a piece of equipment, even incorrectly, you do tend to see a slight surge in the use of it.
Phantom hates bits. I occasionally ride a morgan cross that needs a bit but Im not sure what kind they use. He is really light in the mouth but he is a bit stubborn lol
Ally, I prefer them to bits any day. But if the horse can't be handled without a bit then use a bit. But use it correctly....if you can't use anything or keep control of your horse without being abusive then dont ride period
he is actually the best stud I've ever been around he can be rode in a snaffle and my 5 year old niece rode him (with me leading him but points still there) he just gets a bit strong when he's at shows
At the end of the day, you should always be using equipment that is the most suitable for the horse in front of you, and not the horse you imagine finished or what the current craze is
I wont use them on my personal horses because their all soft but Brett's horses (mostly the stud) are soft but their really strong and need a bigger bit
If you have Dapple Blend Grain, you can feed it to your horse and their coat will dapple.
The effect will wear off after a few days. One pound of grain will be fed at a time.
If you feed Senior Blend to your senior horse they will have a 10% decreased chance in dying
when the weekly script runs on Monday morning. The effect lasts for one weekly cycle.

Choose a Background for your horse.
Withdraw your horse from it's team. You will lose all team points for this horse. Please discuss this action with the team manager first.
Your horse may show 3 times per week. Shows run daily. Your horse and rider will gain valuable experience from showing. Select a discipline to show in, or scratch from tonight's show.
Showing in the special weekly shows doesn't count against your horse's weekly regular show count.
