no i agree, i didnt mean it like that lol, mine was also a horse who could've been sold for quite a bit who was given to me for free. I also would not have given a shit if he was a donkey with a chickens head though, hes my baby boy That's terrible, i hope shes doing ok mentally
Dusty, I honestly wouldnt care if he was a rescue boy. The price doesn't matter to me but this will be the first baby I've ever owned and so he already holds a special place in my heart. I fell in love with him when she first showed me him and she knew I really loved him. Then she got into a bad accident and her already bad back was reinjured and now shes paralyzed. So it sucks. She was going to sell him but new I'd take better care of him so yep :)
From what shes told me hes trained already but will probably need more groundwork since she became paralyzed and has a lot of health issues. He needs more attention is why shes giving him to me. She cant ride him anymore and he's not getting the work in.
I plan on starting off just doing ground work and forming a bond with him when I get him. Pleasure horse for a while then start him on reigning or barrels havent decided yet.
Lol, I was going to but probably wont be anytime soon. The gelding is a friend of mines who lives in Colorado lol. We are upstate Ny. So right now it's not possible to go get him but they're planning on bringing him here eventually when they come to visit
It just sucks because I've had to cancel two of my Physical therapy sessions this week and next monday had to be rescheduled because of me being sick but I dont want my therapist to get it lol
