I don't understand the Disney hype personally. Though is very rare that I connect with movies or TV shows. They are just things that I enjoy when I have the time.
Disney is on the outs I think. They haven't produced any real quality original stories as of late, it's all remakes. They treat their writers badly and aren't brave enough to adjust to new markets. But hopefully they get over themselves soon and start getting back to the original disney magic, because it really is such an iconic company
Same Athena. All companies will do something we don't agree with. Doesn't automatically make them bad though. Although Disney has made questionable decisions.
Pete's Dragon is so far the only remake where Disney has actually changed to story quite a bit. And I don't blame them. Keeping it the same story would have probably made a lot of parents angry. There was a lot of slavery, alcoholism, and creepy themes in the original.
The dragon in the original (didn't even know there was a remake) always gave me word uncanny valley because it was a cartoon in reality. The page master did the same at that part. Couldn't really ever watch those without feeling weird

Showing in the special weekly shows doesn't count against your horse's weekly regular show count.
