i really wanted to get into keeping isopods last year, but my roommate at the time set a hard boundary of no bugs in the house, lol. i still want isopods but i'm in a very small studio apt at the moment and there's just no room for them.
Husband does not mind filling waters and handling my ball python, Imogen. She is extremely sweet natured and loves to hang out. But the cali king? Forgot it. That thing is the spiciest noodle I think I have ever met. He bites everything that moves and anything that does not. The boas he is still wary about. They are big bodied and much stronger than my ball or cali king combined. But they are sweet like honey so far. He knows I love reps and snakes and all things cold blooded as much as I love the furry babies. He does not stand in my way about that. He just has told me he will not feed the cali king or the boas lol.
i think there's a difference between bringing in a new pet your SO doesn't want in the house, vs your SO asking you to give up a pet you already owned when you got together.
My husband is not a huge fan of snakes, especially the bigger guys. But he supports my breeding venture at the moment, we paid 1,500 for both snakes and both racks.
i once met a snake who was i THINK a boa constrictor, and his owner said he was around 21 years old, give or take a year. he inherited the snake from his aunt after she passed away.

Showing in the special weekly shows doesn't count against your horse's weekly regular show count.
