XD Eury,
My point was that those males DO have a use besides reproduction.

I'm still in the process of phasing out my old SD program. It just wasn't pulling in the profit I had hoped it would. Plus, I'm trying to build up a solid herd of EEE mares to use instead of geldings.

MB - I did too.
14 fillies
13 colts all were EEEs. Also got 1 WWW filly.

His guy right here has me REALLY confused. Up week3,6,9 in all three yet struggling to break 50th on the WBJB.

My SD program right now is feeling very weak and I’m unsure why. For years my jumping Warmbloods have been top tier but they just feel lacking as of late. I use boosts all the time too.

That's 14 EEE+ fillies born this year... I think I may need to go ahead and start saving for their maiden year

Overall their extinction wouldn't be detrimental to any ecosystem. There may be minor dips in populations but as long as they aren't all wiped out at once, everyone else will adapt and move on perfectly fine
SandWitch Arabians

Squid - lol neither are we, but I hope we don't get replaced.
lol
The Old Gods

I would be more concerned about other types of pollinators. native bees, wasps, butterflies, a massive amount of fly things
Dash and Duchess
10:36:03 DD | ~Squizard~
witchy, they aren't a keystone species though, their niche is easily refillable by other insects
Angels angels
10:35:03 [1k+ brindles] Angel
How many other insects also help pollination..? Lol
SandWitch Arabians
10:34:54 Witchypoo
I don't think anyone really likes, skeeters. They are part of a food chain, so many things depend on.
The Old Gods
10:34:24 Void Malign
Debatable, given the increasingly harsh summers are resulting in a shorter reproductive window
Tema Farms
10:34:13 Tema
Male mosquitoes drink nectar, and play a role in pollination.

I remember reading a while back about when they were studying the invasive Joro spiders, first of all they have found no negative affects of them being here but they are eating the invasive stink bugs that no native spiders will eat, but they found a bacteria that infects the spiders and makes them infertile. There was a study being done where they were trying to figure out how to make that bacteria infect mosquitoes
SandWitch Arabians
10:33:15 Witchypoo
Sobering factoid, insects in general will probably still be here, when humans are extinct.
lol
Judgement Hall
10:32:59 Night
But back on the topic of mosquitoes, I hate them. Mostly the females because they bite. The males have no mouths I'm pretty sure
