Wolf you shouldn't have to ask and it will depend on what is available, CT are generally used. MRI too just depends. They may ask for xrays if they are concerned about bone damage.
Wolf before we all get on about surgery, lets see what a scan shows first. You may not need surgery at all. Just some recoup time. Let's let the medically licensed earn their fare.

Your horse may show 3 times per week. Shows run daily. Your horse and rider will gain valuable experience from showing. Select a discipline to show in, or scratch from tonight's show.
Showing in the special weekly shows doesn't count against your horse's weekly regular show count.
