I mean, that's what I did when I initially lunged her. I had her off line doing it. MOre than anything, she was testing me since she could have ran to the other end of the pen. I like round pens and small arenas for fist rides as a safety thing. You want your first ride quiet but they are still animals with their own brain. I try to get out the round pen and into big spaces as soon as I can

Choose a Background for your horse.
Withdraw your horse from it's team. You will lose all team points for this horse. Please discuss this action with the team manager first.
Your horse may show 3 times per week. Shows run daily. Your horse and rider will gain valuable experience from showing. Select a discipline to show in, or scratch from tonight's show.
Showing in the special weekly shows doesn't count against your horse's weekly regular show count.
