No it doesn't help with bars. Svens, medallions, and glasses give a boost to a foal's traits in hopes the foal will be stronger. Sexed straws and sexed embryos allow you to choose the gender of a foal when using a straw or embryo

If you have Dapple Blend Grain, you can feed it to your horse and their coat will dapple.
The effect will wear off after a few days. One pound of grain will be fed at a time.
If you feed Senior Blend to your senior horse they will have a 10% decreased chance in dying
when the weekly script runs on Monday morning. The effect lasts for one weekly cycle.
