mana, I'm sorry that they're being difficult, Is there not an independent midwife anywhere around you? I had the first half of my prenatal care done at a local Obgyn office but the later half was done by an independent midwife. The only reason I went to a hospital was because of pregnancy complications during labor. If not I'll would definitely look into what your rights and what their policies are
I would just research patient rights and see if there's anything you can do, otherwise if that's the only prenatal facility near you then I don't see many other options. Sorry you are going through that, Moon. Best of luck with baby.
I need to vent. Found out im 3 weeks pregnant. The only prenatal care around here. Basically told me i have to consent to having a resident treat me. Or they won't see me.
