Always feels weird when people will run to defend pits, claiming that all the bad press is bad owners, but will run to demonize other breeds who typically have little to no training 🤔 |

Pitts were bred for blood sport lol we aren't ruining them, they were ruined from the beginning. What's ruining them is people who get them for athletic, don't train them, and let them run loose because they would "never bite". Dog breeding should require a license. |

As a young child, I was almost mauled by a neighbors Dachshund. Bugling eyes and all! Luckily our cat was next to the open door and ran over and smacked that little witch away from me. Dog barely bit my shoe and pants in the moment between. *sigh* |

Sav One of ours “smiles” when he’s excited and I definitely get that it can look scary to those who aren’t around him often |

I need to stop treating this game like its life or death around RO, its just a game and theres no real consequences if I loose money or if a foal isn't how I want it, gotta catch myself sometimes lol |

They can definitely come across as threatening, especially because of their reputation. No one can truly know a dog's nature if they haven't spent time with that particular dog. |

I have had a number of rescued pits in our family and also have a few heelers. Our pitties are big couch potatoes who only want affection and to sun bathe |

Pit liability is scary. We know Ryker is a baby, but one day he got out and wanted to say hi to a mom and child on the sidewalk. Scary when that dog is running at you. |

Sav They are so precious! I'm guessing the baby tucked into bed is your angel child lmao |
Sunset River Arabian |
Chihuahuas can in fact kill a human if they wanted to and had the opportunity |

Solar Agreed. It's so sad. If only they could prioritize goodness over greed. |

@dimmed Oh they could, espically young children, the old and/or weak. |

Meanwhile, my mom has Chis and one of them is a dainty lady who's biggest danger is that she'll try to clean your nose with her tongue. |

Athena I'm not even a dog person by nature, I had my chow mix with my ex and a few other dogs throughout my life. However, I am someone that loves to be around dogs for short periods of time, and have spent a countless amount of time with all sorts of dogs, and I can confidently say I also love pitties. |
