Wing Wow! He will be living the life! |
Wings Of Glory |
hickory the gravel is normally fine but ours is very fine gravel on a downhill slope so its constantly muddy so thats the main downside for this place also the gravel wears down his feet like crazy hes on a 12 week trim cycle and my farrier just rasps the hoof and trims the frog the new barn will be amazing for him though since he will be able to run around outside he gets a 2 acre pasture to him and 1 other horse theres 2 outdoor arenas 1 indoor, a roundpen, and an indoor heated hotwalker |
HICKORY HILL STABLES |
Question how are we supposed to find higher level horses if when we type in 4 for level nothing comes up to buy? |
HICKORY HILL STABLES |
Oh ok thats what i wondered I thought they were living in it. I was like I've never seen that for a horse before so I was just wondering. |

HICKORY HILL STABLES |
Glory dosent the gravel hurt the horses feet? Ive only seen them in pastures with none or stables, never living in gravel? |
Wings Of Glory |
well I also pay around 600-700 a month for a 40x40 gravel outdoor pen with 2 other horses in it so the new barn having a huge pasture for him is going to be amazing! *-* |

honestly the main reason I'm leaving is bad practices and terrible training methods they keep recommending I use their bad training methods when my horse does anything he was pawing because he was nervous(first time being worked with in 2 months and they were running barrels in the indoor) and they told me to hobble him for the first time and hard tie him to the wall and run away. I also saw a girl yesterday that works there working with a nervous 2 year old who was scared hearing gun shots so they tied her bit to her tail and made her run like that >..> very eye opening and made me glad I'm leaving |
