Thats true lol
Minerva
Lol nah it's just because people put the most effort into their first ones, and usually do their most exciting matches and embryos first anyway. Mass attempts for the win in my book xD
Ravenwood Farm
I think I'm starting to subconsciously believe in that "first 3 breedings" thing. But that's no good, because the embryo hoard is growing faster than I'm implanting them lol
Namerik Stables
Min I agree it would make it easier to search for the colour gene you want
Minerva
Dun is a more solid one- only mushroom has the dotty pattern on it. But agreed, it's still a ballache to go through horses individually
Ravenwood Farm
They look different, that one is mushroom. You can tell without a genetic test once you get used to how it looks
Red Mare Run
But then there's ones like grullos where it may be just their primitive markings... OR mushroom as well. Like this girl -HEE Click-
Ravenwood Farm
That's true, that helps. But you still have to look through pages and pages of non mushrooms I imagine
Minerva
To be fair, with the barred shoulders on mumu non-chestnuts it's only the patterned/creme ones that you'd need to look at the gene test to see it on- everything else can be done by eye. I'd so love to be able to search for every gene though!
Rosemariny
I wish you could search based on your watch list, like show all, only watchlist horses, or only unwatched horses. I think I made a forum suggestion for this a while ago.
Red Mare Run
And there's some genetically mumu mushroom ponies that aren't called "mushroom" in their color and I don't exactly fancy looking at every single gene test for ponies for sale lol
