| Depends on care and such. I have a friend with a hen that’s 7. She doesn’t lay anymore but she is still alive and very very mean nowadays. |

| I have the two brown hens still. But I have 3 others left. A storm took out most of my chickens and I have 0 time to go hen shopping lately. Not that my partner is upset about that. He was a smidge baffled at the new horse. |
