| Sketti allows his front paws to be trimmed but not his back. And I cannot for the life of me figure out why. Total calm for the front paws, expects his treat after. He knows the routine. | Honestly, I put the blame on the breeder for all of April's issues. She fed her cats raw chicken, so after April got home, she developed a severe case of diarrhea and I'm convinced that she didn't get the proper brain nutrition because it was such persistent diarrhea |

| It's not even legal to declaw in most states anymore, in the US. I'm glad claw caps are a thing. My two void cats *both* ended up with arthritis in their feet since they didn't have all of their foot structure anymore, from the declawing |

| :| I once gave April a bath. After I dried her off and let her go, she promptly walked to the wall and sprayed it. She got declawed in the first place because she'd sit on my bed while I slept and claw my face |

| Use that good heart, then <3 What I can recommend to avoid scratches are claw caps. This is painless and protects skin/furniture. But if your kitty is outdoors, don't do that either lol |

| Madonna couldn't be housed with any other animal or she'd attack them. She was, otherwise, a wonderful cat. April just ended up having to be euthanized because her aggression and behavior problems kept escalated. |

| Cats scratch. Sketti does it. They swat with their paws as it's nature. But they need those claws for defense and to feel safe. You remove a literal bone when declawing is done. It's very, very sad and painful to them |
