| Gladius That is correct only the recessive genes which are pearl and mushroom will be lowercase when they have the gene |

| I think the only recessive trait genes (other than the wild bay weirdness maybe) are pearl and mushroom. so if there's a capital letter, that means they have the dominant trait and it should allow for passing that. however some can be hidden, like with the palomino there not showing visible silver |
