Yeah, tried a similar pellet litter. Wasn't impressed with it.

I use the wooden pellets for litter. They are amazing. You can go to a farm store and buy a huge bag for like $8 and it last a long while. Easy to clean, and no mater how dirty the litterbox gets, it just smells like wood

we originally used a cardboard pellet litter the breeder recommended and it was just horrendous, turned to mush and didn't clump at all

I have a single mouse in a multi story huge wire cage and he loves to poop off the edges of the platforms and outside the cage.

Hahahah Min...

I would be letting mine out every two seconds cause he just goes so often.

Yeah... the "sand" has to be entirely replaced once a month. But its a horrible feeling when its crunchy under your own feet.

Mine hasn't ever had a litter tray- she just asks to go outside. I think once Mother moves out Im going to make her a litter area on the landing going into winter though as she pissed inside a lot while it was cold this year. Itll have to be on a table as my shit eating gremlins would be in there in 3 seconds flat 🤣🤣
Stormsong Manor

That's what we do. Spot clean and add fresh litter daily and then the whole thing gets emptied and cleaned/sanitized every couple weeks
The Old Gods
09:34:31 Void Malign
You can get mats that you put in front of the litterbox that helps catch the litter. It's not perfect, but it drastically reduces what they carry out

I've used something similar to the color changing. It was crystals that absorbed the pee and dried out the poop. It was very nice, but it had the downside of when it died from absorbing too much pee it DIED. Clumping litter is nice that I can just perpetually add litter as long as I keep it clean
LaceAndLetters
09:33:25 Lacie
Hmmm... I'm going to give the clumping one a try but I'm sure he'll try anyway to get it everywhere. He loves burying but in the process, it goes between his paws and then he comes out covered it in...

I use clumping

Yeah... Ours doesn't touch it now it's in a cupboard but it was funny to watch her try.

Yet she avoided his poop when he accidentally did one in her bed... Make it make sense. lol

My first dog was a litter box raider. Thor wants nothing to do with cat poop

We have a stainless steel tray in a cat litter cupboard cause our dog loves to eat his poop. >.<

Also I can't stand the smell, which is why I love it when he's gone all day ahahaha

I love my cat really... just there are downsides.
