| I've named barns that way in the past, usually my gelding army, because it can be hard to pick names for each and every horse, especially if you don't like the name they already had. But I like having the year and their rating in their name, at least for certain ratings, so I stopped using numbers so I don't have the add those elements manually. |

| And they likely do it because they can. This isn't the Jocvkey Club, you can change a horse's name at any time, even if it already had one when you bought it. |

| It's not a random number name, it their ID in the system. There is an option to rename all horses in the barn with their ID number (which is the 'name' the wild caught horses have). |

| it might be a dumb question but why do some people buy horses and then give them a random number name as if wildcaught? ive just noticed it sometimes when ive yeeted some in the past so i was curious what would be the point of that haha. at least for horses that already are named |
