I feel like, with all the good showing guides, it isn't really that hard to start an account up. It definitely does take some time but that's part of what makes it fun in my opinion

The Old Gods
I like the fact that things are slower. It means I can take a break for a week or two and not come back to utter chaos with my stable.
Ashcroft Park Stud
Exactly, which is why resets are antithetical to the ethos of this game xd
Running springs
I mean in the real world nothings quick or fast especially training horses correctly so I wouldn’t understand why a game about eventing and training should be quick
Cloud Peak Stables
It's not "slowness," it's simply putting in the time. We've all done it and we know it's not easy but we didn't ask for a reset to make it easier for ourselves.
The Old Gods
The whole point of the game is that it's not an instant gratification. If you're looking for something quick, then HEE isn't the game for you.
Ashcroft Park Stud
if there was a reset (and I very much oppose it) the game would still be slow. But with the side effect that your progress would get wiped every now and then :)
Fabled Farms
You can also just nuke your own game. Free Range or sell your own horses, catch new wild ones and breed up from there if you want a challenge.
Falling Faith
Yeah but if we had that reset then maybe we could be able to level up faster, this slowness is fun for some and not for others 🤷♀️
Boulder Creek
I don't understand the mentality behind forcing everyone to change their gameplay because 'yours' isn't 'winning' There are so many ways to play this game and not a 'correct' way. It does take time and energy to maintain your game every week. But there are so many different ways to engage with this game and community.
The Old Gods
<_> hell. It took me several RL years to actually start breeding WWW RIDs.
Legacy Elm
I do see Void's point here. Not to mention, this is a horse stimulation game. In real horse breeding and showing operations is it even slower..
Ravenwood Farm
My account isn't that old I'd say. It was perfectly fine getting it up and running. And that's with me wasting lots of ebs on getting bad mares bred because I didn't know better. The bigger problem for new players is how overwhelming it is to learn and understand everything, in my opinion
Fabled Farms
I'm a new player, I just bought a bunch of leveled up geldings to get show money out of with the plan of buying breeding stock later once that's built up.
