| sting - the first one isn't tested, are you sure it's mu? I can't tell if the color variation on the top is sooty or mushroom but I think it's mushroom at first glance |

| A horse can be homozygous mushroom, but if it's black based, it will not be in the name |

| right. the question is if they're single mu and not showing as mushroom in the color. I don't think there's any good way really to tell without testing unfortunately |

| yeah I think the only real tell is the shade variation? I think someone said the bottom is lighter than the top (belly/back) but not sure |

| sting - I don't *think* you can see when it's just mu, although I swear the shoulder marks still seem like they're there... I could go grab one of my mu that I've gene tested, see if there appears to be any difference |
