The zoo's pandas are expected to be returned to China between October and December 2024. The China Wildlife and Conservation Association has lent pandas to the United States since 1972 as part of an agreement known as "panda diplomacy". The agreement has allowed zoos to work with China on conservation and research projects. The San Diego Zoo is expected to receive two new giant pandas from China in the near future. The pandas are expected to arrive by the end of summer if all permits and requirements are approved.
SCF they've been saying the pandas are leaving for like a year now ive seen them like 5 times since they first announced they were leaving i dont know whats taking so long
Yeah I heard in another country they're returning the pandas because the up keep is too expensive. Which I don't understand because I believe San Diego California has pandas correct me if I'm wrong.
