Stormie my turtle is 7 and he does the same thing. He may or may not have tried to mate with his reflection once or twice... He is super sweet when he is in his tank but the second he leaves the water he will hiss and try to bite me. he is almost too big for me to hold him on handed

Ally, We *relocate* snappers for that reason. We used to have a huge one in NC that wandered up from the creek bottoms. Finally caught it and got it relocated. It was after the puppies!

when the weekly script runs on Monday morning. The effect lasts for one weekly cycle.
