sadly most horses are DAdrugged for test rides. every horse ive ever gotten was drugged before hand, one mare was drugged so bad she PASSED AWAY 3 days after we bought her
YeahÂ… this person had a relationship with my barn owner. Has leased and trialed out to her before- she knows she will keep them trained. Just this horse she said no, which is her right as an owner.
I do comprehensive PPEs now too. And which is why I am also buying through my barn owner- she knows many breeders and people around here so I can find what I am looking for. I have not gotten to the PPE stage on any of them lol
No, it's not. Letting you trial the horse is a very nice bonus, but refusal isn't a red flag. It's a huge risk to take. Both horses I trialled me and my trainer knew/had prior relationshios with the sellers, so there was a basis of trust there. I don't blame anybody for not wanting to trial. I wouldn't let a horse go on trial unless I knew the person really well.
If you have Dapple Blend Grain, you can feed it to your horse and their coat will dapple.
The effect will wear off after a few days. One pound of grain will be fed at a time.
If you feed Senior Blend to your senior horse they will have a 10% decreased chance in dying
when the weekly script runs on Monday morning. The effect lasts for one weekly cycle.
