Well my old girl, a standard Aussie, i bought 14 years ago and paid 1k for her. The miniature Aussie i got 3 years ago, during Covid, was 1k as well. But she had no papers whatsoever. I'd say the price for the miniature from a decent breeder with papers and a therapy dog foundation, has been around 2k to 3k for the past 5 years.
They are not so wonderful when the owner does no basic training with them. The one next door is just vicious-has bitten 3 people that I know of-she (owner) paid them off to keep them from reporting it.
I bought a new stud dog for $6000 back in april, you can bet I am not selling his puppies in the bargain basement range. Not with his pedigree and proven working lines.
Already innrecession if you ask me. The 3.5 years of extreme inflation has done that job.
And yep, pups I buy/sell are usually in the 2000 range these days. People want that same quality fir 500 because *I have bills* or *we had to buy school clothes* or whatever. Trust me, that initial purchase is the least of your expenses!
I've been looking for a while as it is supposed to be trained into a therapy assistance dog for my work.. But i've kept pushing it far from me because i didn't want to get a third dog. But now that my old girl passed i don't want my younger one to be alone for too long..
@Kat I love my ancient Kerrits ones, but those are fairly see through xD I also have some Ariats that are made of thicker material and aren't see through though, those might be some to look into :)
I have never had good results with autumn pups. I will not breed my bitches for autumn puppies anymore. People either do not want them this time of year, or they expect all sorts of discounts 🙄🙄
I hope breeders in general have stopped, to be honest. I have not bred a single litter this year thanks to the terrible economy
If you have Dapple Blend Grain, you can feed it to your horse and their coat will dapple.
The effect will wear off after a few days. One pound of grain will be fed at a time.
If you feed Senior Blend to your senior horse they will have a 10% decreased chance in dying
when the weekly script runs on Monday morning. The effect lasts for one weekly cycle.

Your horse may show 3 times per week. Shows run daily. Your horse and rider will gain valuable experience from showing. Select a discipline to show in, or scratch from tonight's show.
