@Someday, oof. So she purposefully makes herself sick? That is messed up. I have been told multiple times, even by doctors, that IBS is not a disability. 🤷🏼♀️
While I totally believe IBS is a real disability, I did work with a woman who would eat a double order of French toast with a side of bacon and top it off with an ice cream sundae and then complain to the manager that her IBS was acting up and leave for the rest of the day.
I have severe IBS and fibromyalgia too. Although disabling to me many people donÂ’t consider them disabilities. Like sorry I am stuck on the toilet shitting my guts out no reason. Of course I can come in and handle food.
Not really. A lot of people still don't consider mental health as important as physical health. It's easier to give a reason most consider "valid" than deal with bs
