I'm not having kids because my bloodline is RIDDLED with severe mental health issues, and I definitely have some of the more severe ones (severe panic disorder, borderline personality disorder, etc). Also, I just... don't want kids. My boyfriend is trans, so there's no worries about pregnancy scares on my end, thankfully. I feel for all the women who need to be concerned about those things. It's a shitty thing. My sister is pregnant and while I'm 99% sure she and her fiance will be together forever, I still worry.

What I wanna know is, it's a woman who has to carry and birth a kid. Why must we have a partner's permission to do something to OUR bodies, but yet, men don't need our permission for vasectomies, or whatever? It's not like they have a hard job. Don't see them pregnant for 9 months, or in labor for however long.

I asked to have my tunes tied, signed the paperwork and everything.
Got to the surgery room, no one disclosed that I was getting my tunes tied. Surgery room wasn't booked appropriately
