I don't want to start drama but I just want to say that Border Collies as a family dog is not ideal and are a working breed. the ideal family dogs are Golden Retrievers... I grew up with Goldens and cannot say anything bad about them, they can put up with so much from kids. I Don't want to make anyone upset but to whoever said they wanted a Border Collie to play with their kids is not dog smart... I'm sorry if I ruffled any feathers but that is my honest opinion.
